Witchcamp Council
Supporting and connecting the global network of Reclaiming Witchcamps
Who is Welcome in the Witchcamp Council?
ποΈ Witchcamps
Witchcamps that embrace the guidelines of what defines a Reclaiming Camp. Each Camp may send up to two representatives, and name one shadow representative as back-up.
It is suggested that Camps send a currently active member of their organizing team and a long-time community member or teacher/path leader.
βοΈ Guilds
Guilds may send one representative from a group representing five or more people who consider themselves essential to Witchcamp community and culture and embrace the guidelines of what defines a Witchcamp Guild.
While participation in WCC is not required to be a Reclaiming Witchcamp, we strongly encourage all Reclaiming affiliated camps to participate as a way of supporting and connecting with the web of camps.
Continuity Representatives
Continuity Representatives have organized Witchcamps for multiple years and taken part in Witchcamp Council meetings, providing ongoing support and institutional memory.
Current Continuity Reps
Beth and BrightFlame currently serve as Continuity Representatives

What Makes a Camp a Reclaiming Witchcamp?
β¨ Principles Alignment
Agree to work, plan and teach in harmony with the Principles of Unity and Principles of Accountability
π Reclaiming-Trained Staff
Staffed predominately by Reclaiming-trained teachers
π§ Sacred Space Guidelines
Out of respect for the intensity of spiritual and healing work, participants within camp sacred space engage in transformational work without external intoxicating substances
We request that each camp tithe an annual amount for maintaining WCC. Suggested amounts are $100 for larger, established camps, less for smaller or new camps.

Each Witchcamp within the Reclaiming web is autonomous in its organization, format, content, and path leader/teacher selection process.
π Teacher Database Update
The WCC previously maintained a database of teacher bios, skills, and experience for organizers and selection committees to access.
As of September 2024, this database is no longer operational. WCC continuity witches are seeking solutions and may help implement a new teacher database, subject to worldwide community desire and WCC capacity and resources.
